The eight RDC units operating out of Moncton will be assigned to Halifax service to provide the additional RDC units for trains to Sydney, Yarmouth and Saint John. The arrangement for VIA passenger service from Halifax to the Montreal Toronto and West segment will consist of extra trains operating from Toronto as No. 112 Lv Toronto 1055 Arr Halifax 1430. Not stopping in Montreal. Train No. 111 will Lv Halifax as the 2nd section of train No. 11 at 1120 and arrive Toronto 1240. also not stopping in Montreal. VIA was evidently so sure that their Toronto to Buffalo Railiner RDC service would be allowed to cease, never put that schedule into their Fall timetable, but after many protests by groups to keep the train service, the CTC has granted an extension, so there is a VIA train now operating that isn't in the current timetable. Its schedule however is the same as the one it operated on in past months. so your old timetable will suffice, if you are interested in using this service.
