GlassMagic Lantern Slide:Dominion [Atlantic] Railway Station. Nova Scotia, Canada. (?) HUGE CROWD WELCOMES WWI VETERANS - Marching band - cavalry - dignitaries. Dominion Railway car on the other side of station.Soldiers with "WELCOME HOME HEROES" banner at lower right corner of image. Slide is not identified.
Said to be post WWI, but another version of this scene is identified as 1900. Occasion was to honor William J. Regan when he returned from the Boer War. The wooden station shown burned in 1911.
