Summary
Kentville Railyard looking west with the Coach No. 6 "Graciosa" on the right, circa 1935.
Photo shows the new machine shop built in 1920 and Coach No. 6, "Graciosa" on the right, scrapped in 1939 indicating a date range of 1920 - 1939. The number of steel box car ends suggest mid 1930s, when steel boxcars began to appear regularly. Track slanting to right is the ladder track serving various terminal facilites including the machine shop and Kentville Roundhouse seen in the background. This also marks the beginning of the Kingsport Subdivision.
