Summary
View from the north of the collision in Wolfville July 14, 1896, between the westbound Flying Bluenose pulled by Locomotive No. 21 "Fortuna" on the left and an eastbound freight, pulled by Locomotive No. 20 "Titania" on the right. They collided at the level crossing by the Wolfville Wharves, just east of the Wolfville Station. Fortunately there was only one minor injury and the Flying Bluenose resumed its trip two hours later.[1] Image is from an album in the the Chris Gertridge Collection. A newspaper article is shown at "The Collision", The Acadian and King's Co. Times, July 17, 1896.
