The DAR's westbound Flying Bluenose, Train No. 123, prior to departure at the North Street Station in Halifax, circa 1912. Note that "Intermediate Stations" has been crossed out as the Flying Bluenose was a fast train and only stopped at major towns. This is a rare interior view of the North Street Station which was badly damaged in the 1917 Halifax Explosion and was replaced in January 1918 by a new station in South End Halifax.

The end car is probably the parlour car Haligonian or Mayflower.
