One of the RDCs I photographed being transferred out from the DAR is 9065 late winter or early spring 1979. This location is in front of the yard office at Truro. We just happened to catch the Mixed Train into Truro the night before and saw the RDC tucked in behind the SW1200 with the freight, caboose and coach following. It must have left Truro (on freight #341 from Sydney) for Moncton as it was west bound in Saint John on Feb.12, 1979. If it left on a VIA train it would not have been in Saint John. Later on though VIA moved all their RDC movements on their Montreal Moncton Halifax through passenger trains.
