Description Information: D.A.R. Engine No. 531 was named for Jean-Paul Mascarene, Lieutenant-Governor of Acadia, 1740-1749. This engine was built in Scotland for Canadian Pacific Railway in 1903 and scrapped in Kentville, December 1938. This photograph was taken at Kentville, May 1935.
