A recent addition are the Canadian railway slides of David Othen which included extensive DAR and Windsor and Hantsport Railway material.

The Library shares quarters with the the City of Ottawa Archives, at 100 Tallwood Drive, Nepean, in Ottawa, Ontario. It maintains a reference room with regular hours staffed by volunteers. The Library is a federally-incorporated not-for-profit organization, registered as a charitable organization.
