Chuck has given the DARDPI wiki permission to use his photo collection and for individuals to enjoy them for their own personal study of the D.A.R. Chuck Conway reserves all rights on his photo collection for any commercial use and forbids the use of these images on any other site without his express permission.

 My interest in the Dominion Atlantic started with a series of articles in TRAINS magazine first published in 1954 under the title 'Steam Safari'.  The DAR was covered in the last of the three articles, and found Editor David P Morgan and photographer Phillip Hastings arriving at Digby for ride on the DAR to Halifax. I have  always been intrigued with the small engines, wooden cars and neat operations.  While looking for slides for another project, I came upon John MacIntoshes' wonderful color views of the DAR and other Maretime topic. 
 When Steve Meredith contacted me about posting some, I was glad to participate and help expose this interesting little road. I hope you'll enjoy the views I've posted.
