Dominion Atlantic Railway Buffet Observation Parlour Car No. 6614

This car was one of several modernized buffet-observation-parlor cars in the 6611-6619 range assigned to the DAR to replace the older wooden buffet observation cars like Grand Pre and Annapolis Royal. No. 6613 was built in November 1913 at the CPR's Angus shops as a wooden car but modernized in 1929-1930 with steel sheathing and air conditioning.[1] It was 78 feet long (over the sills) and carried 22 parlor passengers and ran on six wheel trucks.[2] Other cars in the same class that served on the DAR were No. 6613 and No. 6616.
