Summary

Locomotive 2552 with Earl McLeod and possibly James D. Smith, circa 1945. Believed to be engine 2552 based on the styling of the tender, the position of the ladder and grab iron.[1] Inscribed on back: "Earl McLeod and Smith". Smith is possibly James D. Smith, whose marriage record describes him as a "2nd Engineer".[2]
