The Chronicle Herald
The Chronicle Herald became the name of the local paper in Halifax Nova Scotia in 1949 after the merger of Chronicle the Star. Though it wasn't until 1998 when both morning and afternoon papers stopped production and had only a single paper produced each day. Also see The Morning Herald for older information.
