A D.A.R Steamship Lines broach belonging to his mother and donated to the museum by Iain Murray of Scotland. By merit of the sale of the D.A.R. SS Line to the Boston & Yarmouth Co. in 1912, it is estimated to be pre 1912. The Royal crown is not as distinctly Victorian as printed versions and engine numberplates. The coat of arms is the 1867-1929 coat of arms of Nova Scotia.
