The train brought war hero Lt. Col. Allison H. Borden to Kentville, recruiting for the Highland Brigade, a large First World War recruiting drive for the 112th, 193rd and 219th Battalions who were intended to join the 85th Battalion in France to form a Nova Scotia Highland brigade. The troops visible are from the 112th Overseas Battalion stationed in Aldershot. Upon the arrival the train, Lt. The train brought Lt. Col. Allison H. Borden to Kentville, recruiting for the Highland Brigade, a large First World War recruiting drive for several battalions who were intended to join the 85th Battalion and form a Nova Scotia Highland brigade. The troops visible are from the 112th Overseas Battalion stationed in Aldershot. Upon the arrival the train, Lt.
