Summary

Believed to be engine 2552 based on the styling of the tender, the position of the ladder and grab iron.[1] Inscribed on back: "Earl McLeod and Smith". Smith is possibly James D. Smith, whose marriage record describes him as a "2nd Engineer".[2]
