A sister to [[DARANNAPOLISROYAL|Annapolis Royal]](1), this car began as the Canadian Pacific sleeper "Ivanhoe", later renamed "Peninsula". It was converted to a buffet observation car for the DAR in December 1923 and named "Grand Pre". In September 1946 it was renumbered as 411511 and converted to a crew rest car and stationed on a side track in Yarmouth. It was scrapped in July 1960.(2)

A sister to Annapolis Royal(1), this car began as the Canadian Pacific sleeper "Ivanhoe", later renamed "Peninsula". It was converted to a buffet observation car for the DAR in December 1923 and named "Grand Pre".
