Imbertville (Smiht's Cove) Nova Scotia
Subdivision Yarmouth, Mile 14.46
Next Station East: Bear River
Next Station West: Smith's Cove Station, Joggins Bridge
This station caused some confusion as it was located in what was generally known as Smith's Cove, near the cove itself and the centre of the small settlement. However the DAR had already established a Smith's Cove Station near the Big Joggins Bridge, so the name Imbertville was used when a station was built for Smith's Cove in 1914.[1]
The station was built in late 1914[2] and continued to be listed as a station until about 1943.
Track Schematic for Imbertville.
