No. 28 was the only 2-6-0 to serve on the Dominion Atlantic.  The locomotive was built by Baldwin in 1904 for the Midland Railway which ran from Windsor to Truro.  The DAR acquired the locomotive when they bought the Midland Line in 1905. No. 28 was scrapped in July of 1923.
