This is a terrible photo but historically important as the S-3s only lasted a few years on the D.A.R. before being replaced by the SW1200's in 1959.

This slide unlike the Kodachrome John normally used turned horribly red with age. At the time of scanning this was the best colour restoration that could be done. In the future I may rescan and try again with newer techniques and software.

Original Ektachrome Slide, Dominion Atlantic new diesels No. 6560 & No. 6561 pulling a plaster train near Windsor, NS on August 28, 1956.

This is a terrible photo but historically important as the S-3s only lasted a few years on the D.A.R. before being replaced by the SW1200's in 1959.

This slide unlike the Kodachrome John normally used turned horribly red with age. At the time of scanning this was the best colour restoration that could be done. In the future I may rescan and try again with newer techniques and software.
