[The other picture is at [[:File:Acaciaville01.jpg]] - editor.] In this picture, a young lady is seated on the far left next to her father. This lady would later become like a grandmother to me. The hours I used to spend listening to the history of our little community, and how in her childhood, centered on the DAR. Miss them both.<br> |

Stephen Gilliatt to Atlantic Rails
These are a couple pictures looking east at the Acaciaville station (mile 24.2 of the Yarmouth sub) in approx. 1927. I hope they can be enjoyed and moved to the DAR preservation site as I haven’t seen any other pictures of this particular station. [The other picture is at File:Acaciaville01.jpg - editor.] In this picture, a young lady is seated on the far left next to her father. This lady would later become like a grandmother to me. The hours I used to spend listening to the history of our little community, and how in her childhood, centered on the DAR. Miss them both.
