Aliison Bell worked with BC Rail as a Class 1A machine operator and section foreman before moving to Nova Scotia. Some of his duties with BC Rail were track repair, laying new track, tie and ballast maintenance. After moving to Nova Scotia he started working for the DAR as a Machine Operator in the B&B (Bridge & Building) Gang. He's work had him based out of both Kentville and Meteghan. Some of his duties would have been maintenance on the Bear River Bridge.

Allison Bell - September 1976 to Early 1979

Allison Bell worked with BC Rail as a Class 1A machine operator and section foreman before moving to Nova Scotia. Some of his duties with BC Rail were track repair, laying new track, tie and ballast maintenance. After moving to Nova Scotia he started working for the DAR in September 1976 as a Machine Operator in the B&B (Bridge & Building) Gang. His work had him based out of both Kentville and Meteghan. Some of his duties would have been maintenance on the Bear River Bridge. He retired from the DAR in early 1979.
