Pure speculation, or would it appear from the photo order, that John MacIntosh arrived at Digby by car in August of 1959? After a photo session in Digby he took to the road towards Halifax stopping along the way to take a few shots at Bear River, Annapolis Royal, Kingston and Aylesford before arriving at Kentville. Taking a stroll though the yards that day he started at the Station and moved westward where he caught the new inspection car in the yard. Then onto the roundhouse and a few shots inside before he continued across the little bridge by the roundhouse where he caught 8131 coming in from Kingsport and followed it back into the yard snapping photos on the way. Heading to Windor it appears the photo activity for the day stopped after catching the incoming Train No. 22 from Truro and some plaster train action. Travelling up through N.B. later in the month photographing as he went he ended up in Montreal where he caught a D.A.R. unit at the Angus shops ending the D.A.R. photography until his return in 1961.
