A D.A.R Steamship Lines broach belonging to his mother and donated to the museum by Iain Murray of Scotland. By merit of the Victorian Crown on the broach it is estimated to be pre-1902. The crown however is not as disctinctly Victorian as printed versions and engine numberplates. The coat of arms is the 1867-1929 coat of arms of Nova Scotia.
