This small stop in the wilderness became a stop for cottagers and vacationers after the railway arrived. The first station was a small shed, replaced in 1904 with a one room shelter with a stove. Facing the station was a mail bag catch hook. In 1947, the station/section house was moved to Lake Annis from Sississboo.
