Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 500, Membertou
According to Gary Ness on page 7 of "Canadian Pacific's Dominion Atlantic Railway (Volume 1)" and page 9 in Volume 2, this is a class D6a built in 1902 by Schenectady Locomotive Works, Schenectady, New York. It was the first of 60 D6a class locomotive for the C.P.R. Most likely transferred to the D.A.R. from the C.P.R. in 1917 it was not officially sold to the D.A.R. until 1937. It was scrapped in 1940.

Location and date unknown. Probably after 1940 because of being numbered 500 with the "Land of Evangeline" tender crest.
