This is the Intercolonial Railway parlour car "Acadia", built in 1886, later CN 8135, scrapped in London, Ontario in 1936. (See the book Canadian National Railways Passenger Equipment by Gay Lepkey and Brian West for details). A number of sources starting with Shirley Wood's book Cinders and Saltwater have assumed that with the name "Acadia" it had to be a from the DAR's "Land of Evangeline Route" but the ICR used a few Acadian names on their rolling stock as well.
