I'd love to know the locomotive. Frustrating to have the number plate just barely concealed by the drift! I dug up some info on the wreck from an old clipping. Photo was taken by a T.M. Morton on whose farm the wreck occurred. The DAR paid Morton and 300 others to shovel for over a week clearing the North Moutnain Line that winter!

Is that a number above the headlamp? It looks like 4 4 0 or something like that. Steve

Is that a super old box car lettered D.A. 4? Steve

I think that is the back of DAR Snow Plow No. 4. Dan
