Special Thank-You

Post by hecrowell »

For some time now, I have been trying to master the art of route building in MSTS. At times it has been sort of a struggle - learning how to use new software for the actual route and still more software to build models of the buildings for the route. It certainly has not been without its problems at times and to top it all off, my old PC went to the "Deep Six" taking with it all of my hard work which for some time I had intended to do backups of what I had already done. So, the whole thing had to be done all over again on the new PC. You know what they say about the road to that "Hot Place" being paved with good intentions? well its true and if there is one thing I have learned is to backup, backup, backup.

99% of the remainder of things that I have learned are courtesy of Paul Charland. Paul has been good enough to take the time to very clearly describe (often with screenshots) how a particular item of the route should be done and/or how a particular problem should be solved. He has always been "right on the money" and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank him more or less publically....I know that he would say no need for it, but I think there is. Without people like paul who are eager to help others with their efforts to create a route, MSTS certainly would NOT be where it is today.

Thanks Paul!
