If it's smaller than a bread box then it belongs in here. Post comments, stories, photos and whatever else seems appropriate for a model railway forum.
Yea I'm stell trying to work out the details for its driving my nuts.
Yes you can put to buildings to getter to make one I do it all the time to make a existing building look bigger or change its look.
Progress Screens:
The 2 DAR RDCs
I'm trying to get them looking right but the mesh isn't easy to reskin in DAR skims sorry guys your just going have to put up with this look unless I make hole new model. The DAR is coming to life in Trainz.
yes its possible how ever I'll need the Gmax mushs and textures in order to convert them into a useable trainz mesh Trainz runs on a different system then MSTS I can't do it with out the meshs.
For you Windsor Junction Station, looks like you could maybe get it 3d printed. And have the real model of it.
How easier do you find using gmax for building? I want to find a program that's easy to use for constructing buildings in so I could potentially print them out with a 3d printer down the road.

I find Gmax easy but there's many who disagree You can map a texture over the model mesh with the texture map built in gmax you have to first make the texture in a paint program then put it into folder with your model so you may find it in gmax.
I'm using Gmax with a Trainz add on alot like the Gmax for MSTS but for Trainz.
The Windsor jct station is uncompleted at this stage I'm testing it in trainz I massed up on a few parts the station is stell too long I'm good at modeling but I suck at textureing stuff lol no ones purifect.
I'm takeing the DAR to the next Level
The map starts in Halifax gose just past Truro
Dartmouth sub & DAR Lines yes it dose go down the truro DAR line afew mines.
This is driving me nuts the landscape in the pics and on the map look all wrong I need someone to comfrim if this is right or not that or the Geomagnetic maps are baddy out dated.
Hey you planning on eventually doing all of Nova Scotia as a virtual layout? That might be the only way I'll be able to have my Nova Scotia layout but in this way I could also have full scale and upgrade my lines so I could run high speed trains and still do my thing of how I'd want my HO scale layout to be.
You planning on going to the Train Show tomorrow at the Dartmouth Sportsplex? I'm planning to be there for when it opens hoping to find some things that I've been looking for. Also any one else who's going and wants to say hi if they see a nut walking around in shorts with an Eastlink jacket with train pins and a yellow coupler that will be me!

Yea I'll be in the show with the Dartmouth club all day making another video as always lol. Thanks Ric I wasn't sure it looked wrong. and yes I'm going to do all Nova Scotia in trainz but not on this map its already 200mbs as it is i'm going do Kentville to and on. South West Halifax RR full map, Cape Braten, Tatamagouche R&R all throw there. you get the idea but I'm not doing is the Musquodoboit Railway recuse another gentlemen is doing that map in the 1950s hes got a lot done. the maps will me margeable so you can make the full size if you wont the bigger the map the more power it needs to run. by the time I'm done with the CN main branch I'll go do the others. that wont be for a few years. if anyone willing to help or wants to do a NS map I'll make you a DEM map of NS railroads only.
Anywho gentlemen I gtg get ready for the show tomorrow hopeful to see ya guys there.
If i'm going have a station for Kentville I may as well make it look like the real thing or try to get it as close as possible.
Here The Stations I made so far.
DAR Kentville
DAR Mount Uniacke
Restored Only in TR12
CN Windsor Jct
Here a Question: how many windows did the kentville station have how many wore on the back of it ( Road Side ) dose anyone one know what the back looked like all i can find are front and side pics of the station are there any rear pics floating around ?
