Old Time Trains to me

Alan Taylor:

You are welcome to use the various images on my web site. Kindly ensure each image has full credit as shown plus "Courtesy of Old Time Trains" Bruce Chapman and Bud Laws willingly share their photos. When you have them up on your site, advise me and I will in turn advise them.

The wiki has quite a number of pictures but there are some on your Old Time Trains site that I wish we could include as copies on the DAR wiki.

I want to copy them, not just link to them, so if someday you need to change your site then we still have copies.

I don't know how people get to use photos found on some other site except to ask permission of that site. I suppose that you have your own permissions and that those may or may not allow you to pass the photos on.

Anyway, right now I have seen the following pictures which are not on the DAR wiki site:

DAR boxcar 1277

switcher 6560

switchers 6560 and 6561

Can you please give permission for copies of these photos to be posted on the DAR wiki?

Thank you

Alan Taylor.

This is very cool. I mostly certainly appreciate that you took the time to write and get permission to post these great photos.

I have my hands full wrapping up this project I'm on but I will do my best to get these set up on the wiki as soon as I can.

Steve, I see that the photos were added to the wiki some time ago. When I asked for permission to post these on the wiki, the operator of Old Time Trains replied:

I never did that update to him. Did you update him?

Thanks.

As I remember, I did. Ends up, I think two of them were duplicates of what we already had but I put them in their own category and credited them with the photos as well.
