You are welcome to use the various images on my web site. Kindly ensure each image has full credit as shown plus "Courtesy of Old Time Trains" Bruce Chapman and Bud Laws willingly share their photos. When you have them up on your site, advise me and I will in turn advise them.

The wiki has quite a number of pictures but there are some on your Old Time Trains site that I wish we could include as copies on the DAR wiki.

I want to copy them, not just link to them, so if someday you need to change your site then we still have copies.

I don't know how people get to use photos found on some other site except to ask permission of that site. I suppose that you have your own permissions and that those may or may not allow you to pass the photos on.

Anyway, right now I have seen the following pictures which are not on the DAR wiki site:

switchers 6560 and 6561

Can you please give permission for copies of these photos to be posted on the DAR wiki?

Thank you

Alan Taylor.

I forgot to add that the Orillia restaurant is closed. You can see it on Google Maps at: 210 Mississaga St E, Orillia, Ontario. I can't see which car is Nova Scotia from Google Street View, but from one of the photographs people have posted it could be the car that is the main entrance, partially under the canopy.

It went into receivership last year for tazes owing to the city.

The city is trying to sell it as a package. They want the whole thing out of there as they have plans to redevelop the waterfront.

That was the last news I heard besides the Memory Lane Railway Museum expressing interest in obtaining the Nova Scotia should individual cars be sold.

Andrew Blackburn has inspected the Nova Scotia, and he said it has had many alterations. Still, I'd love to see it back in NS and restored.

I'd LOVE to have a model of this car in O scale. Perhaps one day I'll hire someone to build it.

I wonder if Andrew inspected it for the NSRHS as they were interested in it or was it for himself?

Love to know more about whether "Nova Scotia" is coming home.
