I don't know the drill for adding pictures from other sites but a van marked with the DAR logo is shown at:

Re: Picture of Reported DAR Van
While this appears to be a CPR van, as far as we know, no CPR van ever wore the Evangeline crest. As well, the evangeline crest in use would have probably looked like this photo:

which is the same as the tender crest shown here:
http://www.dardpi.ca/wiki/index.php?tit ... d_8-56.jpg
which you will notice is a single line logo.
As I recall, this logo with the mis-shapen face and double line is the same as is shown on the Wikipedia site:

As well, lacking a service number, it look like someone is simply havug a little fun. It just goes to show how many people love this little railway when you see things like this. Thanks!
The schedule is interesting too but lacking the whole scan to confirm the date I would be lack to include it at this point. It is also quite different from our 1967 schedule:

Thanks for the links though and please keep searching! It's through this kind of web reasearch we have received such beauties as:
http://www.dardpi.ca/wiki/index.php?tit ... REIL_a.jpg
http://www.images.technomuses.ca/search ... 05&lang=en
just to mention a few.
With so many people submitting photos to sites these days, there must must be dozens more out there waiting to be found.
Thanks Al!

Re: Picture of Reported DAR Van
Dan and I were discussing the CP van with the DAR crest on the South Simcoe. We figured someone at True Line Trains saw it and figured it was accurate and made the model. If they had done better research, lettering a CP van with "DOMINION ATLANTIC" would have been much more accurate.

Like using some photos from the wiki for research you mean? I've often sent links to TLT for projects they are planning suggesting DAR numbers and giving links to photos. So far has fallen on deaf ears or maybe just not enough votes?
