Interesting... just going thorugh some on the NS Archive photos when I ran across this one described as "D.A.R. Locomotive No. 552, the Piercville and later the Membertou":

We in turn have the engine described as "Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 552, Diereville, Membertou":
