If the artwork is the same and the minimum order is met, splitting the colour, as in black mugs and maroon mugs, is not an issue.

The artwork would work on either, it was sent with a black background that would be removed just ti make the yellow herald easier to see, but the herald would be the same on a black or maroon mug.

Has anyone in Middleton looked into getting Gary Ness and the Mud Creek Boys doing a fundraising concert in Middleton for Memory Lane? It would combine education about the DAR and hopefully raise some money. They certainly put on a good show and had a full house in Wolfville.
The Annapolis Heritage Society or Larche Homefires in Wolfville might have some pointers about how it worked out for them.

That's a fine idea Dan. Do you really think they'd be interested in doing that?

It's been a while since I checked back on this thread so here goes. The mugs are again available from the museum. Half (36) were done with maroon background and half done with black background. Their web-site is not up to date on several pages so it only lists the original order of mugs in maroon at $15.00.

Hi Steve,

Is that on a white mug or is that a single color (goldish) logo on a maroon mug and a black mug?

Inquiring mind (s) want to know!

Thanks to Brian and son for their work on this again.

The mugs are black and maroon with gold lettering is my understanding. I started to work on the museum web site to add them in as products to be sold but I have to overcome some technical details and the folks at the museum have yet to send me any photos of the mugs. We still need to confirmation pricing and shipping too. I believe they will sell them for $15 and for shipped mugs $20 + postage.
