It is with a great deal of pleasure that I can announce that we are in the process of starting up a web site for the Memory Lane Railway Museum in Middleton. In conversation with the chairman of the Futureview T.R.E.A., Mr. Danny Smith, we will supply the entire site for the Railway Museum and maintain it on behalf of this charitable organization. The museum, it should be understood, is a private charitable work project of the Futureview T.R.E.A. and relies on volunteers to staff all aspects of the museum. This is a fine organization who keep the admission to this museum free and houses an extensive collection of DAR memorabilia along with several model railway layouts. It will be a pleasure to share the museum and some of it's fine exhibits for all to see on the internet.

Re: Middleton Memory Lane Railway Museum
I had a great conversation with Terry Hyson, the station master at the Middleton Memory Lane Railway Museum today. This site is complete with original station and freight shed not to mention the mill and is the best example of DAR preservation in the Valley.
I am attempting to contact the board of directors so that we may establish a symbiotic relationship with the museum. It would be fitting that this museum continue to be the centerpiece of DAR preservation in the digital age as well as it's brick and mortar assets.

On Monday last, I spent an enjoyable afternoon with Terry at the Middleton station. I will prepare a brief report and upload pictures, if I can master the technology. In The meantime, should anyone have questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks Fred. I am looking forward to it.
I haven't talked to Terry since last year but he loves a good chat and it quite knowledgable about everything in the museum.
