More From Yarmouth - Aug 19/2010

Post by hecrowell »

Been doing some modeling for the Yarmouth waterfront. These two buildings - The Killam Bros Building and the Parker-Eakins Building are the first of many more to come. All textures are hand painted from available photos. Each building I make is a learning experience. I am keeping my eye on the framerates in MSTS as I go...so far they seem to be steady at 58 FPS. I believe I will have to scale the buildings as they appear quite large when compared to the Steam loco.....

Just for sake of argument, here's the real McCoy Killam Building as well as the PArker-Eakins Building (from the opposite angle)
