Wow. Great Argus artwork - looks stellar. Does MSTS reproduce the roar of those great four engine radials? I can still hear that mighty drone in my head.
I have downloaded a wav file from FlightSim.com for the radial engines that sounds pretty good. The problem is the Argus flies 400 feet above a track that's under the terrain and MSTS is set up to have spheres of sound that are only about a 100 from the point of origin, and that's the point the model is centered at track level. I've been tinkering with the sms file to try to increase that but haven't been too successful... yet. Going to try to create a "cabview" for the Argus so you can fly inside it, the current cabview is from a GE 44 tonner just to get the model to open in the sim.
Here are a couple more screen shots...

Genius. This is too good! Next thing you know you're going to have the flight simmers on your case for those models and the airbase. You better show Chris these too. He'll flip over them!!
Have sent these to Chris and he did enjoy them. Rob Arsenault of Greenwood had been working on an Argus for MS Flight Sim and it's really going to be a beauty when it's finished.
I've been working on a "circuit" and am on the verge of scrapping the effort. MSTS does not allow ovals but a few years ago someone made essentially and oval that's pinched in the middle with a crossover and a few switches inserted to confuse MSTS into thinking it's not really an oval. It requires signals to get MSTS to allow it and this has turned into a problem I work through. They way the switches are set up and signals, all the signals show green except one... and it's red. If you fly along the path it's no problem, you just run the red, bit AI traffic will stop on the red. I changed the signal script so no matter what the light displays the restricted speed is always 120 mph, bit AI traffic still reads the red and stops. Can't really alter the script anymore without taking a chance of screwing up the signals around Windsor Junction so I'm thinking of turning the circuit into a simple flight path that I know will work.... with no oval.
Strange this program can be, the Argus that I have landing worked fine right from the start. I used that engine file when I created 712, the gear up flying model, just changed the aircraft number, it didn't want to work from the beginning. Just had to change it to an AI engine and now it's flying at what appears to be 120+ mph... but, it's flying! Now, to tinker with the sound file.
