Finally got back to working on the extension of the Dominion Atlantic Railway after an error I thought would end the extension and the unexpected death of my father. After tinkering with a few other routes and letting my head clear, I had another go at getting the 54 mile extension to work and finally am back at it. Have the first ten miles completed and here are a few shots.
Train 2 arrives for a mid afternoon flag stop in Waterville at the sight of the former station.

Train 25 prepares to depart Kentville in the early evening.

Train 25 struggles with a long train and only one SW1200RS for the first few miles until it sets out a few cars along the way and lightens the load. By the time it reaches Yarmouth it will be down to only one or two cars.

First stop is Coldbrook where the crew sets out an empty boxcar at Scotian Gold.

8135 blows through Cambridgeat track speed.

The tail end of 25 is seen passing typical Annapolis Valley farm land.

The train stops in Waterville to set out a car for AW Allan Building Supply, housed in one of the former fruit warehouses built by the Dominion Atlantic Railway.

Heading south the train crosses RaFuse Road outside Waterville.

CP 8135 nears MP 10 just north of the switch to Graves Foods in Berwick.
