Only about ten miles left to finish. Truro is going to take months though, then there are afew large steam enhines for the CN and a few early CN diesels to draw.
All the track has been laid for years, you should have it in the beta from a while back. There is one thing I need to fudge, the turntable and engine stalls in the roundhouse. The Kentville turntable tracks are on 8 degree centers, CN used 7 1/5 degree centers. MSTS/OR only has a turntable track that's 27.8m long, that's 88 feetish. So Kentville is a bit too long and CN Truro is going to be a bit too short (should be 92 feet). I have no choice and I don't think it's possible to have two different turntables using the same 27.8m track, so both will be the same models. That said, the DAR will still be leasing two stalls in the CN enginehouse and you will be able to run in and out of it.
Not much between Clifton and Truro other then more farm fields. I found a 1947 map of Truro so I'll be using that to figure out what roads would have been around back in the 1950s... a bit closer then the 1977 map I have.
Along the Salmon River approaching the Broad Landing Bridge.
Two miles to go to the CN Truro station.
Anyone interested in me making a beta? I'm going to be working on Truro for moths, just wondering if a couple of people would tst the reast of the route while I'm making Truro.
Downloaded and ran it for a good two hours. Then I made a video capture but haven't had time to reduce it enough to get it on YouTube.
You style has been very consistent over the years but the finer and overall details are definitely over what you were doing even 10 years ago and this is very evident in the Midland run. Beautiful scenery and great villages along the way. Enjoyed going to the top of hill at the church in Kennetcook and pleasantly surprised to find all the gravestones in the cemetery! (See the 2nd video in the following post.)
As I have more time I shall explore more to find other treasures you have included.
The route ran well - no troubles at all. Looking forward to seeing Truro shape up!
I made some nice videos running from Kingsport to Truro and from Windsor to Truro but they were too big for YouTube even after I compressed them down. They all have quite a bit of time speed up to make the runs quicker. No editing, just the original footage.
Depending on your internet speed, they could take a while.
