Hey guys, there's a new D.A.R. modeler

If it's smaller than a bread box then it belongs in here. Post comments, stories, photos and whatever else seems appropriate for a model railway forum.

Just wanted to give you a heads up there's a new D.A.R, modeler on the board and wiki and he's very interested in adding and editing D.A.R. model pages on the wiki.

Say hi and welcome to dardayliner when you have a moment!

Thanks Steve.

Right now hoping that I acquire a brass D-10, which will become #1111, Star of the snow scene in "digby trains" and I find out now, the last D10 ever built.

Now that you mentioned that I went and checked the roster and sure enough, last D10h and in fact last 10 wheeler on the roster alright but what is interesting is the first D10h on the roster is 999.

Good choice. I hope you find your Brass D10 for the project! I have been trying to super detail an old Roundhouse MDC 4-6-0 kit to depict No. 999, but it is taking forever.

I remember when Bob MacIntosh was selling his dad's stuff off he had a couple of brass D10s. Can't remember the sub but seem to me they were d's or h's.

For 1111 scene ideas, these are favs:
