Interesting stuff there. I may have to check it out. Curious about the photos. Anyone know who Solomon Bowlby was?

There were a few nice bits, mostly related to the estate of a DAR worker named B.L. Mailman from Clementsport who worked on the DAR from 1946 until 1991, mostly on track maintenance near as I can tell. Does anyone know anything about him? He seems to have kept various bits of gear, some printed material and a handful of photos. I bought a few things - a nice early Dayliner schedule from 1956, a few wreck photos and MOW crew shots (I will scan and post in thr weeks to come) as well as a CPR dining car mug and two chairs that came from the Kentville station. There were some neat bits of MOW gear that I didn't go for, tie lifters, a rail drill etc but my basement doesn't have room for anymore heavy rusty stuff. Was anyone else from the DAR DPI community there?
Samuel - I got a late 20th century crossbuck for you, probably from the Clementsport/CFB Cornwallis area. Give me a call about picking it up. The lamps unfortunately went for hefty prices from $75 to $170. Hope VIA rail safety days went well.

Cheers

Dan, I'll send you an email.

Sorry haven't checked the forum for a while.

VIA rail safety day was good, I even got a VIA Rail Yellow metal step, had to go dumpster diving.
