Kentville Heritage Centre

Post by Tedsgrandson »

I was recently on a trip through the Valley and discovered that the Kentville Station, previously used as a bus terminal, is now the Kentville Heritage Centre. I'm attaching a few photos taken in the room dedicated to the DAR.

It looks like it's only allowing me to post one picture at a time. Here is another.

Thanks for the update. I will have to drop in and see for myself as I didn't know they had done that.

I will have to check it out myself. I wonder what the story is for that flag? It looks pretty pristine.

One of these days I'm going to draft up that old DAR herald then use it as well to create the steam ship lines herald that had this in the middle.

I actually like the aerial shot of the west end of the facilities.

The aerial shot looks impressive indeed. Who took that shot and when?
More people should consider using electric log splitters during next winter.

My guess would be Dick Killam. The date below the photo says 1975.
