I was looking through the Jenkins photo collection and noticed the station photos that Samuel listed as Avonport look a heck of a lot like the one Auburn on the wiki. One of them has to be wrong!
Also, the station listed as Newport is not a DAR location I'm familiar with. There is a Newport Landing on the east side of the Avon River just north of Windsor, but I'm not aware of a railway there.
Auburn station or Avonport?

CP lists Newport Landing as just "Newport" ion their Employee's Timetables.

Re: Auburn station or Avonport?
Newport was the name of the township created in 1760 that once stretched from the Avon River at Newport Landing inland all the way to the Uniacke area and took up a lot of East Hants. It became samller in the 1780s as the Loyalists arrived and other townships were hived off. However this still left a lot of Newport names on the Hants County map: Newport Landing, Newport, Newport Corners, Upper Newport etc.
