MFMR Windsor show. Aug. 26

Post by downeastrailfan »

I was able to obtain a table for us at the upcoming Windsor model RR show. If anyone wants to help man the booth, let me know. Details: http://mfmr.ca/category/events/

Great set up at the Windsor show, Matthew. Liked the way you used the photos on the laptop to engage people by asking them where they are from and then showing them DAR photos from their community. Nelson's sim looked good running away as well.

Here is a photo of our table at the Windsor show. I don't know the attendence numbers, but since it was the first year for this show, hopefully the numbers will increase in future years.

The local historical society brought out some RR items from their collection. It was great to see one of the enamel Windsor stations signs has been preserved.

I'd like to promote the dardpi at county exhibitions, such as Bridgewater, Windsor, Berwick, Lawrencetown and Yarmouth. Time and money seem to be the only obstacles. Is anyone else interested in doing this?

Thanks Matt for your efforts. Looks really good. How did people enjoy the MSTS DAT?
