Yup. Saw that. Pretty good old CP brochures and those cancelled tickets and baggage claims are neat too.

The photos of the Digby arrival were excellent. Too bad they never took anymore like around Kentville or Windsor until they got to Halifax.

I have an idea though to ask him for the whole article to repost here.

That's a great trackside shot of the early Scotia Gold plant at Coldbrook near the end of the blog. Neat transition from the era of apples in barrels and trackside warehouses to the big climate controlled food plants.

I wasn't sure where the photo was and had to go to Google Earth and find the parts of the original plant were still there, with a lot of additions since then added.

That's funny, I went to Google Earth to check it out as well. I am surprised that the original building has stayed in service - it must be a versatile structure. I bet the construction was influenced by WW II hangers with that big low pitched roof, must have seemed huge in its day. I bet the rafters are lovely big Douglas Fir beams, typical of wartime wooden construction.
