Re: DAR Dayliners (RDC-1s)

Here is Version 2 of the DAR Dayliner set. There are now 4 Dayliners, 9058 & 9059 in both Warpaint and Hockey Masks. Improved graphics, interior colour now changed to match the real DAR Dayliners, switchable cabs and night time views if you are running the MSTS BIN patch.

These are repaints of the Gaeton Belanger RDC1 model for the units that were used on the Dominion Atlantic Railway. These are Warpaint units 9058 & 9059 as delivered from the factory and Hockey Mask / Tuscan sideboard units 9058 & 9059. Hockey Mask 9058 is actually not historically accurate. 9058 was involved in an accident in 1966 while still dressed in it's Warpaint scheme and 9057 was sent in to replace it. 9058 never returned to the DAR although it was seen in service for years in Quebec dressed in the Hockey Mask / Tuscan sideboard scheme and relettered Canadian Pacific. So the model existed, just not lettered for or running on the the D.A.R. For those of us running the D.A.R. line on MSTS, it's just too nice to have them both still on the line, so here they both are anyway for your enjoyment.

Please read the file in the distribution for more detail.

With the release of this version, the previous version is no longer offered and has been taken offline.
